A cozy coffee shop café game · for iPhone, iPad & Mac
Brewpire – a cozy coffee shop café game with no timers, for iPhone, iPad and Mac
Bring Grandma’s old corner café back to life.
A calm game about a small café and the people in it. No time pressure, no losing, no subscription – just a place that keeps living, even when you’re not around.
What makes Brewpire special
A shop that lives on its own
Characters with real stories
Nomi, Jonas, Mrs. Hartmann with her dachshund Manni – every character has a name, quirks and a little story of their own that unfolds over weeks. You bring Jonas a coffee before his exam, just because. It’s exactly those moments that stick. Your café tells a bit more of its story every day.
Step behind the counter — completely stress-free
Apron on and go: steam the milk, pour latte art, bake until golden in the oven. No clock breathing down your neck – nothing can go wrong. "Take your time" is written right into the game. Or lean back and just watch your team work. Both are perfectly fine.
The corner café becomes something more
Grow at your own pace: the little corner café becomes a restaurant and eventually a whole row of shops. Every stage feels fresh – and your favorite people grow with it, from shy newcomer to the top. Drop by often and you’re rewarded. Stay away a while and you still miss nothing.

The cast
You’ll recognize them at a glance

Over 30 lovingly hand-drawn characters – plus countless guests who make every shop a little different. Each one has their own shape, their own colors and a trait that makes them instantly recognizable.
Evenings worth looking forward to
Sometimes a day turns into an evening
Everyday life in the café is lovely. An event makes it especially lovely: rare evenings that grow out of your stories — ones you unlock and experience. None can fail, and none can ever be missed.
Evenings that come back around
A quiet book club in dimmed light, a cozy house-music evening, a themed night that suits your shop. You set them up and repeat them – and with a little preparation they grow a bit warmer every time.
Moments with your characters
The loveliest evenings grow out of relationships: a candlelit wine tasting with Rémy, a regular’s birthday, or when someone you’ve gotten to know over weeks asks, “May I hold my evening here?”. That they ask at all is the real reward.
Little surprises
Drop by late one evening – your team might be having a quiet party in the storeroom, or Nomi practicing latte art alone after hours. Never announced, never forced. Catch one and you’re given a warm moment; miss it and you lose nothing.
No event is ever a test. The scale doesn’t run from pass to fail, but from lovely to especially lovely – and preparation is always an invitation, never a duty.
First voices from the playtest
A warm welcome
"I opened the app one evening just to see whether Jonas passed his exam. That says it all."
"The first builder game that leaves me calmer after playing instead of rushed."
"Mitsu the cat is my favorite game character of the whole year."
Who’s behind it
From two people at a corner table
Brewpire is just the two of us. Jannik handles the code, Annalena draws everything you see in the game. No big studio – just two people and quite a lot of coffee.
The idea came while playing other builder games. Most of them constantly wanted something from us: keep at it, wait, pay again. At some point we simply had enough of being pressured by a game — and started building the opposite.
Annalena hand-drew every character, Jannik gave them their little stories. Nomi, Jonas, Mrs. Hartmann with Manni — after all these months they feel to us like people we actually know. If you ever feel the same way, we did everything right.
No investor behind us, no one we have to feed. You pay once, fairly, and the café stays yours.
"We reward you for being here — and never punish you for being away." — Jannik & Annalena
Honestly meant
What builder games usually do — and what we don’t
We left out every trick that forces you to keep playing instead of inviting you. Here it is in black and white.
Not a comparison with any specific title — just with the patterns that spoiled gaming for us.
Sounds like your pace? Be there at launch.

No big fuss, no empty promises. This is the path — and below it, what will guaranteed never make the list.
From the workshop
How Brewpire is made
Honest notes from the two of us building our cozy coffee shop game – about timers, characters and hand-painted cafés.
Why no line in Brewpire is straight
Until now it was mostly Jannik writing here. Today Annalena explains why no line in Brewpire is straight on purpose – and how clean edges turn into a café that someone actually lives in.
