Privacy Policy
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
Protecting your data matters to us. This website is deliberately lean: it uses no tracking, embeds no third-party services and sets no consent-requiring cookies.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the site, the host automatically processes technical data in server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free and secure operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
3. Fonts
All fonts are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other third party, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
4. No tracking, no cookies, no analytics
We use no analytics, statistics or marketing tools, no tracking pixels and no consent-requiring cookies. No profiling takes place.
5. Sign-up for launch info and devlog updates
If you sign up via the form, we process your email address solely to send you launch information about Brewpire and occasional developer updates. Sign-up uses a double opt-in process: you first receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after clicking the confirmation link. If you don’t confirm, the address is not used any further.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Storage and sending take place on our own server at STRATO AG; we do not pass your address to third parties and use no external newsletter provider. To document your consent, the time of sign-up and confirmation is stored. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect – via the unsubscribe link in every email or by messaging us. Your address is then removed from the list.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please use the contact details above.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
